AT&T U-verse Now Offers HD

If you take a moment and think about it, you can get a bundle including over 200 channels including commercial-free movie channels like HBO and Encore for about $110 dollars a month. That is less than you typically spend for dinner and a movie. The latest and greatest in the pay television market is HD, or high definition programming. What should you consider when hooking up that new flat screen TV you just bought?
Don’t forget that your standard cable TV or satellite TV service is not in HD. You must specifically purchase a programming package that features this type of programming. So where do you start?
Make a call to your current provider and find out exactly what they offer as far as hi-def service. Satellite TV companies DISH Network and Direct TV have been leading the charge as far as providing the most HD when you look at channel counts. Cable television providers like Cox also have some nice offerings, such as HD on-demand. Find out exactly how much upgrading to HD will cost, and if you need additional equipment.
If what they are offering is not what you need, its time to do a little comparison shopping. The latest offerings include an all HD package from DISH Network called Turbo HD. DirecTV sells HD service for just $9.99 a month. Prices are different with cable television companies across the country, so you will have to call your cable operator to see what the cost will be for high definition.
Another consideration is that many telephone companies now offer TV service. AT&T now provides their U-verse TV service in some areas they cover along with telephone and DSL. Verizon is also in the game, providing their fiber optic service FiOS in many neighborhoods. It is advisable that you compare different services side-by-side, such as DirecTV vs. AT&T U-verse. These developments are a benefit to the customer, as more competition encourages low prices in the end.

Also, if someone is addicted to alcohol or a drug they should seek help from an addiction treatment center.
