More Office Space For Google And Facebook
dangerousdanman | February 9, 2011It looks like the competition between Google and Facebook is heating up more than ever with both companies buying up those offices to rent space within a few days of each other.
Facebook have nearly 2,000 employees now and thought it was best for a bit of an expansion, they have done this by purchasing a 57-acre campus in California which allows them to house a further 1,600 employees leaving them with the ability to contain 3,600 workers. The lease they have gone for is around fifteen years!
Google have been up to the same with announcements that they are going to be opening a new office in California that is set to hire around 6,000 more people this year.
